The Skandino Originals® spoutless training cup is designed to safely and naturally support a child's transition from a baby bottle to an open cup. Made in Liperi, Finland, the cup was developed in collaboration with speech and occupational therapists to support the development of a child's oral motor skills and drinking abilities. Unlike traditional sippy cups, the Skandino spoutless training cup helps a child practice drinking from an open cup early on and supports the development of a natural swallowing pattern. The spoutless design does not strain oral motor skills in the same way as a traditional sippy cup, whose daily use many professionals worldwide no longer recommend. The cup has a removable lid, so it can also be used as an open cup as the child grows.
